We love sushi! So much so that we want to visit Japan to eat our weight in sushi, but as we won't be leaving the UK anytime soon (covid), we want to tell you about the amazing sushi at Umai Sushi and Ramen Kitchen located just off the busy and popular Princes Street in the centre of Edinburgh
We've been quite a few times already since we found Umai on voucher and discount website itison where you can purchase vouchers at either £25 for £50 worth of food and drink or a £50 for £100 voucher
The kitchen itself is quirky with raw stone walls which are adorned with Japanese lanterns and artwork, then there is a massive window which looks out on to the busy Queensferry Street. The staff are all so friendly and attentive, and the serving dishes are all so cute
But what about the food!? Well there is a large menu with so much to choose from, we like the chef's choice platter which is £27 then we have chicken and prawn gyozo and the biggest bowl of beef ramen. Every item of food has been lovingly made and not only does it all taste amazing but it is a work of art looking at it before eating!
