In the morning we took another walk along the beach and it was lovely and sunny so seen more of the hills and snow capped mountains.
Started todays drive by leaving the Abel Tasman national park and it's lovely scenery and headed to a place called Murchison for lunch, had a yummy toastie. Then we followed the Buller Gorge for a while, with it's own spectacular views.
Continued the drive to Westport where the sun came out and we took the opportunity to sunbathe in the park across the road from our hostel- Bazils. Westport is a small town, we went to supermarket and pub, played pool and were joined by all the teenagers off the bus who were on a 3-legged pub crawl, something we had opted out on due to the fact we didn't want to be tied to a brat we didn't know all night. And on that note we'd just like to say we feel old, the bus has mainly teenagers which look like 12 year olds but guess they can't be. The bus is quite regimented, as in the driver books our accommodation, drives us, gives us guidance as what to do etc so these kids love it, it's like having their mums with them and their teacher! But they still act like cocky tw*ts.
